Real ballistics
Rounds leave the muzzle, drop over distance, punch through wood and glance off steel.
XSF is a first person shooter framework for Roblox. Bullets leave the barrel, recoil fights back, and every gun has weight when you swing it around. Drop it into your place, pick a loadout, ship your game.
XSF 2.0 / SETUP IN A MINUTE
Most Roblox gun kits snap a model to your camera. XSF moves the weapon like something with mass, then simulates every round it fires.
Rounds leave the muzzle, drop over distance, punch through wood and glance off steel.
Every gun climbs in its own learnable pattern. Hold the trigger and it gets wilder.
The gun lags, overshoots and swings with bodycam style free aim.
Far shots arrive late, walls muffle, rooms echo, and flashbangs leave you ringing.
Sights, muzzles, grips, lights and ammo types, with three presets per gun.
Mouse and keyboard, controller and touch, on R6 and R15, all rebindable.
Pick a game style, weapons and every common setting on the dashboard. Your game picks it up.
Fingers close around every grip, knives sit in a fist, and the arms wear your players' shirts.
Rifles, machine guns, SMGs, snipers, shotguns, pistols, seven knives, grenades, launchers, C4 and claymores.
XSF, short for Xypher's Shooter Framework, is a free first person shooter framework for Roblox games, made by Xypher. Its code is written from scratch: one framework that handles the camera, weapons, bullets, recoil, sound, hands, movement and the menus players see. Anyone can set it up from the website without scripting, and games coming from ACS can bring their gun models and animations along. Read the full facts about XSF or see how it compares to ACS.
No. XSF is its own framework with its own code, written from scratch by Xypher. ACS 2.0.1 is an older Roblox gun kit whose models and animations are public, and XSF can use those assets so ACS games can switch easily. Everything that runs the game, from the bullets and recoil to the hands, menus, dashboard and server checks, is new.
XSF (Xypher's Shooter Framework) is a free first person shooter framework for Roblox. It gives your game real bullets that drop and go through walls, recoil with learnable patterns, guns with weight and inertia, realistic hands, downed and revive, and menus for PC, console and mobile.
Yes. XSF is free to use, including in games that earn Robux. You make a free account on the XSF website and download it from there straight away.
Yes. XSF has its own code but supports the public ACS 2.0.1 gun models and animations, so ACS guns can be brought over with the included importer. On top of that it adds a no code website dashboard, server checked bullets with lag compensation, realistic arms whose fingers close around each gun, a hotbar and backpack, a loadout screen with attachments and skins, explosives, pickups, vaulting and 59 ready to use weapons.
No. The XSF dashboard sets up your game from the browser: pick a game style, camera, weapons and settings, and your game picks them up the next time a server starts. If you do script, XSF has a full server and client API.
Yes. XSF supports mouse and keyboard, controllers and touch screens, all rebindable, on both R6 and R15 avatars.
Every shot is simulated again on the server, which rewinds other players to where they were when the shot was fired. Shots that do not add up are thrown away, so a client cannot simply claim a hit.
Fifty nine. Sixteen rifles and machine guns (HK416, M4A1, AK-47, AK-12, AKS-74U, HK33, SCAR-H, G36C, AUG, FAMAS, TAR-21, Galil, FAL, M14, M249, PKM), ten SMGs (MP5, MP7, UMP-45, Vector, P90, Bizon, Uzi, MAC-10, Thompson, MP40), six snipers (R700, AWM, Kar98k, Mosin-Nagant, SVD, M82), five shotguns (870, M1014, SPAS-12, double barrel, AA-12), eight pistols (Glock 17, USP, M1911, M9, CZ 75, Five-seveN, Desert Eagle, S&W 686), seven knives, the M67 frag, M18 smoke and flashbang grenades, C4, a claymore, the RPG-7 and the M320.
Download the model from your XSF account, drag it into Roblox Studio, move the three folders into the services they are named after and turn on Allow HTTP Requests. The docs walk through it step by step and it takes about three minutes.
The XSF folder is not directly inside ReplicatedStorage. It usually ended up one level too deep, in ReplicatedStorage.ReplicatedStorage.XSF, or is still inside XSF_Release. Drag the XSF folder itself into ReplicatedStorage and press Play again.

XSF 2.1 (October 2026) added empty hands (put the gun away with Y or its number key, with first person hands that walk and run), crouch and slide poses on R6 that other players see with matching hitboxes, menus and UI clicks that never fire the gun, quick grenade throws, and many new options and script hooks: sprint reloads, grenade physics, sound routing and custom footsteps, required attachment slots, where player settings are saved, and new server and client API functions and events.
XSF 2.0 (October 2026) went from 20 to 59 weapons and added explosives (RPG-7, M320, C4, claymores), gun pickups and ammo boxes, sight zeroing with night vision and thermal scopes, vaulting and climbing, 108 skins with an unlock system, proper bolt action, stripper clip and revolver reloads, attachments that fit every gun, and a one key weapon self test.
Yes. By default players only get the attachments and skins your game gives them. Your scripts call XSF.GrantAttachment or XSF.GrantSkin from a shop, a crate (XSF.RollSkin picks one by rarity), a gamepass or a leveling system, and XSF can save the unlocks for you.
Yes. XSF handles the guns, damage, downed and revive and pickups, and works with normal Roblox Teams. Your scripts run the rounds. The docs include ready made recipes for team deathmatch rounds, battle royale loot, gun game, class pickers, kill feeds, shops and leveling.
Free, including in games that make money. Make an account, get your spot, and drop it into Studio.
