Get XSF.rbxmx from your account once you're in.
Drop it in
Drag the file into Studio. Inside XSF_Release are three folders named after the places they go. Move what is inside each one to the Studio service with the same name. Picture guide
Set your loadout
Open GameConfig, list the guns players spawn with, and press Play. The docs cover the rest.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, including in games that make money. Nothing is drawn on your players' screens and there is nothing to pay.
Why isn't it on the Toolbox?
So there is one real copy. Toolbox reuploads of popular kits tend to come with backdoors. The only official download is this site.
Can I bring my ACS guns over?
Yes. XSF has its own code, but it supports the public ACS 2.0.1 assets and ships with an importer that turns ACS weapon animations into XSF keyframes. Gun models and attachments carry over as they are.
R6 or R15?
Both. Third person posing works on classic Motor6D rigs and on the newer physics based R15 rigs.
What stops exploiters from shooting through walls?
The server simulates every round again against where targets were when the shooter fired, using a short history of hitboxes. Fire rate, ammo, reloads and range are all checked. Shots that don't add up are thrown away.
Does it run on phones?
Yes. There are touch controls for moving, looking, firing, aiming, reloading and switching weapons, and the menu works with touch too.
Do I have to credit anything?
No. If you want to mention XSF on your game page we won't complain.
